Three years ago, Susanne Suffredin, the director of the @home documentary, filmed in LA with a woman named Catherine, who was finally back in an apartment after nearly seven years homeless. Last month, Mark Horvath ran into Catherine again — and she was homeless, again. Three weeks after interviewing her a second time, on April 30th, she died sleeping outside. The @home campaign is dedicated to people like Catherine — men and women who are at risk every day, simply because they have no place to go. She was a nurse and a mother whose life didn't go as planned — and she could have been any one of us.
